Sports are known for producing the most remarkable athletes, colourful characters, influential leaders and memorable heroes.

The enthusiastic sportspersons of Moti Ram Arya senior secondary Model school, Chandigarh outshined their opponents at various Inter school state tournaments organised by the Education department, Chandigarh, to secure top positions.

The gymnastic artistic U-14 (boys team) won Gold medal along with winning the first position in Gymnastics acrobatics in U-19 men’s team.One of the gymnasts brought laurels was Rehan of class 6th who won total 8 medals in which 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze were bagged by him and overall hold on top 3rd best gymnast. Devyansh of class 8th grabbed two medals in which 1 is gold and 1 is bronze. U-19 category Jaideep Singh Reen got Bronze medal in artistic individual event.

In Sports Archery U-14, Harshdeep of class 7th won bronze medal in 20 meters and Prince of Class 8th carved his name by bagging 1 silver in 20 meters and 1 silver in 30 meters. In another category of U-17( boys) in Archery Grisham of Class 8 got Bronze medal in 20 meters.

School Director Mrs Rachna Mahajan extended congratulations to the winners and applauded the efforts made by the students. Principal Dr. Seema Biji appreciated the students for bringing laurels to the school.
