A special assembly on BUDDHA PURNIMA and LABOURS’ DAY was held by MRA model senior secondary school,sec 27 Chandigarh. It began with ‘ Gayatri Mantra’. Students from senior classes expressed views regarding the life of Gautama Buddha and on importance of hard- work. A special dance performance on BUDDHA VANDANA has taken place to warm up the chilly fluctuating weather in summers. This was followed by the song and a very special poem ‘ MAJDOOR KI ZINDGI’ specially dedicated to our supporting staff.

How come it is possible for school dignitaries to stay away on this auspicious day of GURUS. School Director Mrs Rachna Mahajan graced the ceremony infact addressed students while updating the importance of Guru in life. She further threw light on the ‘ ORIGIN OF EDUCATION’. In respect to supporting staff she summed up in a nutshell that ‘ No Human Masterpiece has been created without great Labour’.

As a token of appreciation School Director Mrs Rachna Mahajan along with school principal, Dr Seema Biji provided necessary consumer food items among school supporting staff. Indeed a perfect philanthropy day it has proved!
