 ‘CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2023 ‘ was held at Moti Ram Arya School, Sector - 27, Chandigarh. The CBSE Heritage India Quiz is one of the programmes promoted by the CBSE with an aim to create awareness among students about the rich heritage and cultural diversity of our country.

The Overall In charge of the event was the Principal, Dr. Seema Biji.

The quiz was conducted by Mr. Aryapriya Ganguly. A renowned Quizmaster, Mr. Ganguly has been conducting the CBSE Heritage Quiz for the past so many years. There were 30 schools from throughout the country taking part, with one team qualifying for the finals.

Speaking on the occasion Principal Dr. Seema Biji expressed her gratitude to CBSE, saying that it was a privilege to be chosen to host an event of such magnitude and emphasized the fraternity between the MRA and other CBSE affiliated schools. Director Mrs. Rachna Mahajan lauded CBSE for conducting events which led to the all round development of the children and made them lifelong learners. She congratulated students from Springdale Public School, Amritsar for winning the competition. Encouraging students to become quizmasters themselves, she  concluded by thanking Mr. Aryapriya and the respective teams.

Recounting a memorable anecdote, Dr. Seema spoke of how the great visionary came across a small example of the importance of projecting a good image of one’s nation. She delved into the value of upholding one’s heritage and staying connected to one’s roots. Mr. Aryapriya expressed his appreciation for the experiential method of teaching followed by the school. He concluded by reminding the audience that their heritage linked them to their roots, culture, society, and that to succeed in life, it was essential for everyone to hold on to their values.
