In a heartwarming display of social responsibility, the students of Moti Ram Arya Sr.Secondary School, accompanied by their enthusiastic teachers, visited the city’s iconic Sukhna Lake on 22 nd November ,2024 to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation being held on 23rd November 2024 in the memory of our Late President Sh.Hardayal Mahajan. This initiative was a part of the school’s ongoing centenary celebrations, marking 100 years of excellence and community service.
The event featured a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play) performed by the students, creatively showcasing the life-saving impact of blood donation. With banners and slogans like “Be a Hero, Donate Blood” and “A Drop of Blood, A Ray of Hope,”and “Be the reason behind someone’s smile “ the students passionately engaged the crowd, urging them to join hands in this noble cause.
Teachers actively participated in the event, motivating both the students and the people at the lake. Their presence added energy and enthusiasm, making the event even more impactful. The collaboration between students and teachers demonstrated the spirit of teamwork and the school’s unwavering commitment to societal welfare.
The Director, Ms. Rachna Mahajan, and the Principal, Dr. Seema Biji, played an instrumental role in encouraging the educators and students to take up this initiative. Their inspiring words and leadership were the driving force behind the success of the event.
