Parent's Day Celebration

Parents day is a day for the children to make their parents feel how grateful they are for having such lovely parents. Parent’s day was celebrated at Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model School, Sector 27A , Chandigarh on 18th May, 2024. Children took efforts to thank their parents, who have shaped up their life in such a beautiful way. An exciting programme was arranged for the parents and students of Junior Wing which included songs and dance.  The reason for celebrating this day is to thank and acknowledge parents for all that they have done for their children. The celebration commenced by invoking God’s blessings followed by a welcome address and to celebrate the spirit of oneness, our theme for the celebration was “INDRADHANUSH - The Magic Of Seven Colours. Gratitude is the real treasure God wants us to find because it is not the pot of gold , but the rainbow that colours our world.The programme began by the lighting of the lamp by the honourable Director of the school Mrs. Rachna Mahajan and the Headmistress Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur.

To gear up for the striking beginning of the show a Prayer was put up by the primary students. The rockstars from the primary section welcomed each one in their melodious voice. Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model School has produced a no. of excellent students in academics who in future will take the reputation of the school to great heights. It was the time to applaud and reward the students for their sincere efforts during the previous academic session. The school honoured all its achievers for having attained a sterling record both in scholastic and co-scholastic domain. Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was also held.  The School Report of all the happenings of the previous year 2023-2024 and about the outstanding achievements ,was presented by the Headmistress Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur.

Each colour of the rainbow represented its quality and each group shines with its unique distinct features. We are one united entity though diversified. We are one big family.

The director of the school Mrs. Rachna Mahajan addressed the audience .The programme concluded with the vote of thanks.
