MRA Fraternity attended Workshop on Art Integration and Life Skills

 

A workshop on Art Integration and Life Skills: Fostering Essential Competencies for Success by C.B.S.E was conducted at Moti Ram Arya School on 28th and  30th March,2024. Nearly 60 teachers from Primary to XII class participated in this workshop along with Principal Dr.Seema Biji and Headmistress Ms.Ramandeep Kaur.

The Resource persons for the workshop were Retd. Principal Anupama Sharma, Dr. Amrit Pal Aujla, Ms. Veena Singh and Ms. Jasjit Kaur Jaggi respectively.

 

The workshop began with activities focussed on self-awareness and emotional intelligence.The resource persons gave beautiful insight on the basis of which Art Integration and Life Skills are categorised. The teachers were engaged in reflective exercises to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and emotional triggers. Strategies for time management and organisational skills were explored to help teachers prioritise tasks, set achievable goals, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

 

The workshop aimed to equip teachers with essential life skills and integrate art which is necessary for personal well-being, professional growth, and effective classroom management.

 

Principal Dr. Seema Biji thanked the experts for their invaluable contribution,experience and valuable insights and assured that the school will continue with this process.

 

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks and on a positive note to embed life skills and Art Integration into the teaching learning process continuously.
